Sounds of Poetry Potluck

Sensory Poem
Two fat lumps of cat fur with tails of fluff black and white.
They’re as heavy as a brick with a soft coat on top that’s black and white.
Hint of nachos with meat .Smells bad doesn’t it?
When I look at Lila she’s like a devil. I look at her and she turns around and looks at me with a freaky face that scares the cats out of me.
All night I hear her running up and down the hallway like a soccer player.

The Audi R8
Carbon fiber,
Makes it lighter.
Special blaster,
Makes it faster.
Audi, Audi,
Audi, Audi!!

My Love
Lola is as sweet as lavender,
She loves me like babies love candy,
She loves my mom and dad like they were her own parents,
Who else does she love?
Oh yes,
She loves a squirrel up in the tree.

Greek Gods

Zeus god of lightning

Aphrodite the goddess of love

Hera the goddess of beauty

Together they rule!

Through time

Through math

You will

Outstand

Madeleine
My little buddy with the rosy cheeks and hair the color of the sun and with red
Lips and eyes of blue,
She has a friendly voice,
She is smooth,
                                                                     She smells lovely
                                                                It is my friend Madeleine.

Sandy
My dog
Silly
Fur something like spun gold
She’s an early bird, somewhat naughty,
Sleeps and snores
A hyper puppy

Big Fat Turkey

Plump, golden-brown, glistening on a fall-colored china plate,
So silent you could hear a pin drop
Nice and warm smells so good
Taste like ham
Soft like feathers

My mom is as pretty as a butterfly
My dad is a handsome man
My little brother is so cute
